A relaxing opportunity to connect with yourself through breath work and guided meditation.
Katie, from Elm & Ohm practical well-being, will lead the class through guided breathing exercises and mindfulness activities. By directing your self care practice in a way that works with the human brain, Katie can show you how to “tap in” to a calmer and less anxiety ridden self.
People know to breath when they are stressed, or do mindfulness activities (that lovely buzz word) … But people don’t know HOW to do these things and this is where many get stuck. Believe it or not there is a way to help yourself decrease anxiety, build a positive attitude and take control over our emotions and behavior … It’s about timing and learning what works for you … and the key ingredient is to understand a little about how the brain works to bring this altogether.
- Ages 16+
- $7 class if purchased on-line up until the day before each class
- $14 at the door
- Great for anyone, no physical requirements as this is a seated experience
- Venue is Wheelchair accessible
