Workshop: How to quiet your inner critic

Join local Transformational Coach and Stress Reduction Therapist Melanie Taylor, from Life of Wellness Institute in this 60 minute workshop where we will discover a mindful lifestyle principle that emphasizes the body as a moderator of mind. You’ve heard the common saying that “your mind affects your body.” For example, stress can deplete immune function, leaving us more prone to catch a cold. But just as the mind can affect the body, what you do with your body can also influence your mental state. When you understand how your body works, you can use the appropriate practices to generate positive states of mind.
Together we will build self-awareness through conversation, activities, and meditation. We will invite gentle observation and reflection and with this new awareness we will bring in strategies to allow for new patterns and choices to develop.
