The Airdrie Farmers Market has something for everyone! From fresh baked breads, pies, tarts to hand picked B.C Fruit and alberta vegetables. Food Trucks on site, and a fabulous park to bring the family to. Sausages, perogies, custom art, jewelry and local business ready to tell you all about their products and services. Runs Wednesdays until October 3rd.

Crossfield Farmers Market

Visit the Crossfield market for the best local produce. Enjoy a variety of make it, bake it and grow it vendors and plan to stay for dinner. Free admission and food bank donations are accepted. Runs until the last Thursday in September.

Art of the Harvest 2018

Empty Bowls Arts Festival 2018

This family-friendly celebration of community in the Airdrie area brings awareness to local hunger issues and raises funds for Airdrie Food Bank. Features local music, art, kid’s activities and free soup lunch! Handmade pottery bowls are available for purchase for a suggested $20 donation. All proceeds support Airdrie Food Bank programs.

Adopt a Highway Fall Clean Up Campaign

Help clean up the environment around our community by joining us for our annual fall clean up of Highway 567 from Airdrie’s city limit to the Airdrie Waste Transfer Site and rodeo grounds. Volunteer Airdrie has officially adopted this section of highway and is committed to do a clean up campaign at least once per year. Great opportunity for families, corporate groups, service clubs, etc.

Iron Horse Park

Bring your family. Bring your friends. Come and experience an interpretive rail journey on our miniature trains. Climb aboard one of the 1/8th scale diesel or steam locomotives at the park and get a feeling of what the railway was like in Western Canada during the pioneer days. The journey will take you over hills, across trestles and through tunnels across the varied landscape.

Iron Horse Park is open to the public every Sunday between 11:00AM and 4:00PM, weather permitting, until the Thanksgiving weekend in October. Admission to the park is free. The cost of journeys is $3.00 each.
